Today, I want to talk about Confidence but before we do, how much do you know about yourself with regards to how other people see you?
Did you ever notice that our confidence sometimes is measured by how we rate ourselves to other people?
Be it we compare our clothing styles, hairstyles, money, statuses level of freeness around others. These may not be the same for everyone but when you find yourself at a level higher than others that kind of boosts your confidence.
This is what I’m going to tell you. One needs to feel not intimidated by people who are dressed up better than her, who have more money and are more successful. So ask yourself which type are you? Are you the kind that gets intimidated if someone looks better than you or the kind that will still feel good even if there are others who look better?
This is not to tell you how but to make you see why loving yourself is key to confidence. When you have a clear knowledge about who you are, you will learn to loving yourself just the way you are and you will eventually have confidence in yourself.
It is not about who gets the most likes for Facebook , what others think of you should not matter, it is about being you even when no one sees you.
To my surprise, even the most successful people and celebrities feel insecure once in a while: “I still doubt myself every single day. What people believe is my self-confidence is actually my reaction to fear.”- Will Smith
